RollSorted is being built to help you work through your camera roll, compare similar photos and bursts, and decide what to keep. Sorting is planned to happen on your iPhone, with no cloud AI.
ALL FEATURES ARE FREE. Use the app without an account. The free version will include only occasional, dismissible ads for other apps by the same developer. An optional subscription removes all ads and automatic signup reminders. No subscription is needed for app functionality.
What it does
Keep or remove, at your pace
Swipe or use accessible buttons to decide on each photo. Track your progress and pick up again by month or date.
Duplicates and similar photos, kept separate
Exact duplicates and merely similar photos are grouped differently, so similar shots are never labeled as copies.
Bursts and best-shot suggestions
Review every available frame of a burst and keep as many as you like. Suggestions are made on your device, and a suggestion never deletes anything.
Screenshots, blurry shots and large videos
Review screenshots, screen recordings, possibly blurry photos and large videos in focused passes.
Removals you can undo
Favorites and skipped items are protected. Removals are queued with undo and a final review before the system's own delete confirmation.
Albums and honest counts
Organize photos into your Photos albums where permissions allow, and see honest counts and an estimate of storage impact.
Privacy in plain words
Photo review, similarity grouping and best-shot suggestions are planned to run on your iPhone using media already on the device. By default RollSorted does not download iCloud-only items, and it marks them clearly. Read the full privacy policy.

Will I need to pay for anything?
No. ALL FEATURES ARE FREE. An optional supporter subscription ($0.99/week, $1.99/month or $19.99/year in the US) will remove ads and automatic signup reminders only. Final prices will follow the App Store listing and may vary by region.
Will my photos be uploaded?
No uploading is planned. Sorting and suggestions are designed to run on your iPhone without a cloud AI service. We will update this policy before launch to match the released app.
What happens with iCloud Photos when I delete?
Deleting in the Photos library can also remove the item from iCloud Photos on your other devices. RollSorted will explain this at the delete step, and nothing is removed without the system's confirmation.
Will it free up space right away?
Not necessarily. RollSorted shows an estimate. How much space you get back, and when, depends on iOS, Recently Deleted and iCloud settings.
